Community and Volunteer Updates

Thank you for your continued support of the Oak Park Homelessness Coalition and its programs. As OPHC continues to work with government, community and social service leaders to combat the health and economic impacts of COVID-19, several resources are available.

Flexible Rental Assistance Program

Oak Park offers a Flexible Rental Assistance Program (FRAP) to those who require financial support. The program, administered by Housing Forward, provides individuals and families who are at risk or experiencing homelessness with emergency financial assistance that is aimed towards preventing homelessness or aiding those that are in between stable housing. More information on the program can be found here

The application can be found here. Contact Suburban Cook Call Center at 877.426.6515 to be pre-screened over the phone to determine initial eligibility for services. Walk-in’s welcome at Entry Point Walk-In Center, 6634 W. Roosevelt Rd., 2nd Floor, Oak Park.
